Organizations working for the betterment of Ritchie County recently received $9,700 in grant support from the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation (PACF) and its Ritchie County Community Foundation (RCCF) affiliate through their competitive Community Action Grants Program. The fall 2024 grant recipients include:

• Creed Collins Elementary School - $7,500 for exercise equipment for the physical education class. 
• Northern WV Area Health Education Center - $900 to support expansion of the Moving Onward and Upward Program.
• Pennsboro Woman's Club - $600 to help blacktop the parking lot for easier access to the building.
• Ritchie County Family Resource Network, Inc - $700 to support fresh food vouchers for Packs of Plenty.
