Grantmaking

The goal of GrantED is to support teachers and take learning experiences to new levels.
- Application Deadline: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis between September 1, 2026 and June 1, 2027 until all available funds for the year have been committed.
- Maximum Request Amount: $3,000
- Application and Project Timelines: Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis; projects will be notified of the outcome of their application within two months of grant submission. Please plan to apply at least 8 weeks before funds would be needed.
- Eligible Schools: GrantED is limited to the public school system at this time. Projects may support PK-12 learning experiences at any public school in Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood counties in West Virginia, or Washington County, Ohio.
- Eligible Applicants: Teachers, librarians, nurses, counselors, and other school professionals are eligible to apply. The program is limited to one application per teacher (or other staff member) per year. There is no limit on the number of applications from each school. We strongly encourage coordination and collaboration among personnel at the same school; for example, applying for one piece of equipment that can be shared among two classrooms.
- Eligible Costs: GrantED funds can not be used toward general supplies, professional development, or food costs. All GrantED funds are awarded to the school, and all materials and equipment purchased through grant funds are the property of the school. The principal or appropriate administrator must support each application and agree to administer awarded funds
- Application Access: All proposals must be submitted through our online application process; emailed proposals can not be considered.
Account Set Up: If you have not previously applied for a grant, email Maribeth Saleem-Tanner at maribeth.saleem-tanner@pacfwv.com to create an account in our grant portal as your first step. We will help you set up your account and connect it to your school.
If you previously applied through a different school, please email Maribeth to update your account information before completing the application.
