Organizations working for the betterment of Doddridge County recently received $14,000 in grant support from the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation (PACF) and its Doddridge County Community Foundation (DCCF) affiliate through their competitive Community Action Grants Program. The fall 2023 grant recipients include:

• Doddridge County Family Resource Network - $3,000 to create an underwear closet and period locker at Doddridge County Middle School.

• Nazareth Farm, Inc. - $11,000 to support retaining a professional, experienced home repair project coordinator to direct the home repair mission and program costs.

The PACF and DCCF awards grants from a variety of funds created by individuals, organizations, and area businesses to support critical community needs.
