Talent Retention and Civic Engagement
West Virginia is one of just a few states in the nation that has a declining population. Founded in 2011, the Foundation's Civic Leaders Fellowship Program builds area students’ personal skills and ability to find meaningful employment in our region upon college graduation. It also empowers them to get involved in their communities to help spark change.
Nonprofit Capacity Building
Working to ensure that nonprofits in our region have the tools, resources, knowledge, and support they need to meet the needs of their communities. This includes providing grants, supporting Nonprofits LEAD, hosting Give Local MOV, and providing helpful trainings and workshops.
Substance Use Disorder
Building partnerships, identifying needs, and developing strategies for addressing prevention and treatment in our communities. The PACF provides meaningful grant assistance to area nonprofits working in the substance use disorder sector and also partners with other area funders to support the Mid-Ohio Valley's Substance Use Collaborative.
Supporting our area's young people to help create positive futures. By taking an active role in supporting and developing child care resources, educational opportunities, access to food, support systems, and more, the PACF is investing in the future of our area youth.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Investing in the advancement of equity, diversity, and inclusion and toward making our region a place where all people can fully realize their aspirations. The PACF strives to be inclusive and we want to inspire and help the local community in its efforts to do the same.
