Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, nonprofits were vital to providing both relief and recovery to our community. Recognizing the critical role of nonprofits in responding to the pandemic and in providing services to residents, the City of Parkersburg allocated American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation and the Bernard McDonough Foundation to provide ARPA Recovery Grants to support community-based nonprofits.
