Nonprofit leaders, including staff, board members, and key volunteers, working for the betterment of Lewis County, are invited to a FREE interactive workshop that will guide attendees through valuable resources including grant writing tips and a nonprofit needs assessment.

The workshop, organized and presented by the Lewis County Community Foundation (LCCF), will be held at Stonewall Resort, on Tuesday, April 12 from 1:30pm – 4:30pm. During the interactive workshop, the Lewis County Community Foundation Fund and the Pallottine Foundation will share information on grant funding opportunities for Lewis County nonprofits, and the West Virginia Nonprofit Association will lead participants in assessing their individual organizational needs with the results compiled into a master assessment spectrum for in-depth discussion. This exercise allows nonprofits to become more aware of their own organizational needs, to learn strengths and weaknesses of peer organizations, and to understand commonalities of capacity training needs of all participants.

This event is open for nonprofits serving Lewis County. Registration is required and can be completed online. Registration deadline is April 5. As this event is in-person, COVID-19 safety precautions will be taken for the health and wellness of all attendees.

For more details, please call the LCCF at 304-428-4438.
