New Scholarship Fund Established in Memory of Eddie Haislop

Established by the family and friends of Edward George Haislop V, the Eddie Haislop Memorial Endowment Fund honors the vibrant life and legacy of a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Eddie was born on July 1, 1993 and passed away on July 26, 2025, leaving behind a community deeply touched by his kindness, humor, and the unwavering love he gave so freely.

A native of Parkersburg and a graduate of both Parkersburg High School and West Virginia University, Eddie was known for his magnetic personality and ability to connect with anyone.  He was the proud owner of Acemed Solutions, where he worked alongside his family to improve the lives of patients across West Virginia.

Eddie’s love for swimming and the outdoors was a defining part of his life.  The North Hills Pool was a place of joy, friendship, and lasting memories for Eddie and those closest to him.  In honor of that special connection, this permanent endowment provides support to the YMCA of Parkersburg to host a summer swim invitational at the North Hills Pool, helping ensure that future generations can experience the same sense of community and camaraderie that Eddie cherished so deeply.

Through this fund, Eddie’s bright spirit will continue to shine and support youth, families, and the North Hills community he loved so much.

The Eddie Haislop Memorial Endowment is administered the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation (PACF), a nationally accredited, highly regarded, and widely supported public charity with more than 60 years of experience of managing permanent charitable funds.
