The Parkersburg Area Community Foundation (PACF) is pleased to announce the awarding of three substantial grants to the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia for their renovation project. These grants include a $10,000 award from the Mary Anne and Doug Ketelsen Charitable Fund, a $25,000 award from the Mary M. Welch Advised Fund, and a $50,000 Impact Grant from PACF’s unrestricted funds.

These combined grants, totaling $85,000, will play a crucial role in the renovation of the Society’s new community-based office at the former Worthington Elementary School building. This renovated space will significantly enhance the organization’s capacity to provide essential services to children and families in need, fostering a safer and more supportive environment.

The PACF extends its deepest gratitude to Mary Anne and Doug Ketelsen for their continued dedication to our community. Additionally, the Foundation is pleased to utilize its unrestricted funds to further this important project, reflecting its commitment to addressing critical community needs.
