Applications will be accepted through August 30th. Organizations that serve Wood County, WV, and Washington County, OH, and are interested in applying can visit the Spirit of Giving Fund's grant webpage to complete the online application. This annual opportunity reflects the company's deep commitment to giving back and strengthening the Mid-Ohio Valley through targeted support to area nonprofits.

Spearheading this year’s Spirit of Giving is Karmyn Conley, who continues her family’s tradition of philanthropy through The PM Company.

Established on October 21, 2011, by Pat Minnite, Sr., the Spirit of Giving Fund at the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation and Regional Affiliates (PACF) was created to promote community well-being through charitable giving. Since its inception, the Fund has awarded nearly 300 grants totaling $916,000 to local nonprofit organizations.

Fueled by the generosity of more than 500 unique donors, the Fund ensures ongoing support for the region’s most impactful nonprofit work. 
In 2024, the Spirit of Giving granted $100,000 to 7 local nonprofit organizations, helping to advance missions that provide vital services, education, and outreach across the region.
