In April of 2003, Jean and Mel Ford generously seeded Williamstown High School Foundation Fun, setting up the new fund with the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation. This fund is specifically restricted to benefit Williamstown High School. It was Jean and Mel's hope that since this fund is a permanent endowment, it will grow to become a source of significant aid to Williamstown High School.
The WHS Foundation Fund will provide useful grants to WHS to support the purchase of state-of-the-art educational equipment, program support, and classroom and curriculum tools. These grants will help with the development of WHS youth and the growth of the WHS alma mater.
