The Parkersburg Catholic High School Athletic Foundation was established through the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation by Vienna natives, Alice and Jack Myers. They chose to develop an endowment for the school's growing athletic programs. Until this fund was established in 2000, parents and students had to raise about $100,000 a year on their own to pay for sports programs.

"Jack Myers noticed that the schools had to do a lot of fundraising to pay for sports and he wanted to help with that," said Judy Sjostedt, Executive Director of PACF. "The beauty of this endowment is that the principal will always be there so the children of this community will always benefit from the program."
