The Nancy and George Kiedaisch Scholarship Fund is a permanent gift from Mr. and Mrs. Kiedaisch to the community they have called "home" since childhood. Born and raised in Ritchie County, Nancy and George value hard work, determination, and entrepreneurship.

This scholarship will forever aid a graduating senior from Ritchie County High School who is planning to obtain post-secondary education at an accredited vocational, technical, or trade school. Recipients must have a GPA of at least a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale and demonstrate work ethic and leadership skills.

Nancy Kiedaisch is a 1965 graduate of Harrisville High School. She graduated from Parkersburg Community College with an Associate's Degree in Nursing in 1978 and then West Virginia University with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She later served in the Army Nurse Corps Reserves for 14 years. Nancy retired from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources with 28 years of service.

George Kiedaisch is a 1967 graduate of Harrisville High School. An U.S. Army veteran and successful entrepreneur, George owned and operated many businesses in the Harrisville area including a car wash, ice cream shop, and many other ventures.

Together, their gift back to Ritchie County will last forever through this permanent scholarship fund and partnership with the Ritchie County Community Foundation.
