The Mid-Ohio Valley Symphony Society provides an opportunity for area residents to attend concerts in the local area by the West Virginia Symphony. The West Virginia Symphony is recognized as one of America's leading state orchestras. Throughout the mid-Atlantic region and the state, they have performed an extensive series of classical and "pop" programs.
To ensure the continuation of future concerts, the Mid-Ohio Valley Symphony Society Advised Fund was established at the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation. The fund is designated for the long-term growth and evolution of the Symphony Society in our area, and, over time, will provide funding for activities and program development.
