The Harrisville Lions Club Scholarship provides support to a student from Ritchie County who desires to further his or her education after high school. The funds for the award are made possible through the generous support of area Lions Club members and friends.

The recipient must have a 2.0 grade point average if he/she is a graduating senior or presently enrolled in a school.

If the individual has been out of school, and wishes to continue their education, they may also apply and will be evaluated on a case by case basis as to their potential to complete the course of study and preference given on the basis of financial need.
