The Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg Youth Education Fund resulted from the merging of two funds: the Boys Club of Parkersburg Alumni Scholarship Fund and the ABRAXAS Foundation Education Fund Scholarship.

The scholarship is awarded to disadvantaged youth, with preference to those who have participated in the programs at the Boys and Girls Club. Recipients must be enrolled or planning to attend a post-secondary educational institution. Recipients are selected on the basis of financial need, educational goals and character.
