Thanks to PACF’s generous donors, we manage more than 200 scholarship funds all designed with one goal in mind: creating life-changing opportunities for the next generation of leaders.  Together, these funds have made millions of dollars in awards possible, empowering students, like you, to achieve their academic goals and build brighter futures.  Here is a listing of scholarship opportunities that are currently accepting applications.

Current Scholarship Opportunities:  

The Women's Opportunity Fund - Linda Culp Memorial Scholarship supports working women seeking to advance in their profession and progress in their career path by completing their education or pursuing additional schooling.

You must meet the following criteria to apply:

Type of Student: Working women. Not recent high school graduates.
County of Residence: Applicants must reside in Wood, Wirt, Ritchie, Calhoun, Gilmer, Roane, Pleasants, Jackson, Mason, Doddridge, or Tyler counties in West Virginia or Meigs, Athens, or Washington counties in Ohio.
 

Application Opens:  April 20, 2026

Creating a plan is the first step for any scholarship application process.  To help with your planning, here is a listing of all the Foundation's scholarship application processes. 

All Scholarship Opportunities:  

Applying through the Foundation's Universal Application evaluates your eligibility for more than 200 scholarship funds.  High school seniors AND current college students are encouraged to apply.    

The 2026 PACF Universal Scholarship Application closed on February 28, 2026.  

 

Application Timeline:

  • Application for the 2027-2028 academic year opens on:  December 1, 2026
  • Application Deadline:  February 28, 2027

If you have previously received a scholarship from the PACF that is renewable, you need to complete our renewal application to ensure the Foundation has your updated information. 
 

Scholarship Renewal Timeline:

  • Application Open:  December 1

The Vasan family established this scholarship to award academic excellence.  This scholarship provides an annual scholarship to graduating seniors from Parkersburg High School who have outstanding academic achievements and related academic activities and community service. This scholarship also honors Parkersburg High School teachers who have influenced and encouraged the recipients on their journey to academic excellence.  Students will be notified at their Senior Awards Ceremony if selected.

Applicant meet the following criteria to apply:

  • Type of Student: High School graduating senior
  • High School: Parkersburg High School
  • GPA: 4.0 minimum
  • Based on: Academic excellence course work - (math, science, computer science, history, art, music, English, etc.); high level of academics, with assessment of rigor to include the number of courses completed and level of each course (e.g., honors, AP, dual credit); high achievement in academic activities, academic competitions and clubs, research, etc. Applicants must have a minimum ACT composite Score of 32 out of 36 or SAT-1 score of 2100 out of 2400, or SAT-1 score of 1420 out of 1600.
  • Type of Scholarship: One-time

This scholarship does not require a FAFSA student aid report.
